A warm welcome from sunny southern California!

My name is Marc Neveux and I’m so happy you dropped by my site. I hope you find lots of inspiration and helpful information to get you started on the path to owning your own business.

On this page I wanted to share a little bit about my background, and why I am so interested in finding creative and fun small business ideas.

I guess I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit.

My business ventures have been many and varied, starting with the proverbial lemonade stand in my early years.

Besides selling lemonade and used books, I supplemented my income during my middle school years by shoveling sidewalks and mowing lawns in my neighborhood.

In my early years of high school I had a newspaper route that covered 7 miles. We lived out in the country and I biked that route every day in the warm months and used the family snowmobile in the winter.

That venture finally came to a halt when my dad got tired of fixing the snowmobile. Then it was off to work at the local grocery store.

After high school and some college I have been lucky enough to have worked for some good employers in the electronics fields.

But along the way I have always had an interest in having my own small business, and I have enjoyed a number of enterprises in the arts and crafts field, selling on eBay and internet marketing.

I've really have had some varied and interesting small business experiences, and I continually find it fascinating discovering how other people find fun small businesses to start.

Which puts me on the constant lookout for creative small business ideas, and I will be continually adding them to this site as I find them.

Now of all the ideas on this website you may be wondering if I have some favorites?

Well there are more than a few that I would love to try, but I'd have to find a way to clone myself just to have the time.

But I do have a favorite, and yes it's the business I am working on now - building an online business.

Building this website with Site Build It (SBI) has been an rewarding experience, and a great fit for my personality and skills.

There are so many benefits to having an online business for me, including the flexibility to work around my other commitments, and the portability of being able to run a business from just about anywhere.

And my story is not unique, there are thousands of people who use SBI to build an online business, or to support an offline already existing business.

Now perhaps this interests you and perhaps it doesn't.

Everyone's interests, talents and skills are unique, and that's why I explore so many different varieties of business ideas on this site.
